Cathe, Down-Under
This day after Christmas,
From here where I live,
I'm sending my hopes that
This new year will give,
Such peace and contentment,
happiness and bliss,
that far in the future
you may reminisce:
Of roads, never stony;
Of trails without tears;
that led to a future,
Devoid of all fears.
May paths that you walk on
Always give you cause,
To be glad you live in
The land known as Oz.
May rain green your grasses,
The winds stir the mane,
Of the mare you ride on,
Again and again.
May long days of pleasure,
Nights filled with wonder,
Be always the fare for
Cathe, down-under.
