A BAG OF FAIRY DUST

He reached into a bag of fairy dust,
But the gentle breeze had a sudden gust,
And a triple potion that sparkled fair,
Set the sky ablaze, in the summer air.

A vision appeared in time's awesome frame,
With a strange new twist for a diverse game.
Extracted straight out of a midnight dream,
With a silky blush in the starlight's gleam,

And a peaceful look on a face so fair,
Came a maiden, framed by her shining hair.
Her burnished skin, with its soft creamy glow,
Cast all shadows out, and the moonbeam's flow,

O'er her naked skin, shown in sweet repose,
Held him rapt, in awe, 'till the morning rose,
And dispelled the last of the fairy dust,
And the dream dissolved, as they always must.
